24 May 2004 – I was lucky to stay in an incredible variety of accomodation, all of it built from the mud brick that is so common in the area. Some of the places were very grand and overlooked green valleys and high mountains. In the evening, after a long day of community discussions we would roll out blankets and sleep blissfully on the mattresses you can see in the photo.
